Joseph C. Phillips was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania in 1955. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1977 with a B.S. Degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections, with distinction. Mr. Phillips attended the Dickinson School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1982. Mr. Phillips joined Peters & Wasilefski in 1982 and has been a shareholder in the firm since 1987.
Devoting a substantial portion of his practice to workers' compensation, Mr. Phillips has provided aggressive representation on behalf of his clients for over 20 years. Mr. Phillips has successfully litigated cases in State and Federal Court and at all levels of the workers' compensation system. He has written and lectured on various topics in the workers' compensation field.
Mr. Phillips is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, Defense Research Institute, and the Workers' Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
